SOCAN honours Dylan Menzie with No. 1 Song Award

SOCAN honoured Dylan Menzie with a No. 1 Song Award for “Kenya” before his performance at The Burdock in downtown Toronto on Nov. 20, 2016.

The song – which reached the top of the CBC Radio 2 top 20 chart on June 13, 2016 – was written and published by Menzie himself.

Joining Menzie at the presentation, and at a celebratory pre-performance dinner, were SOCAN A&R Administrator Melissa Cameron, who presented the award; Kate Gracey-Stewart of Lighthouse Entertainment; Menzie’s touring bandmates Nigel Hann and Luke Pound; and SOCAN Communications & Marketing Generalist Tiana Feng.
